Committed to defence. Designed to deliver.
For more than 25 years, we've built our business around long-term relationships, trusted advice and a genuine commitment to understanding the organisations we support, the contexts they operate within and the goals they're trying to achieve.
We're a deliberately small, specialist team that combines strategic thinking, creative excellence and deep sector experience to help clients communicate with confidence, engage stakeholders and influence meaningful outcomes.
The relationships we've built, the track record we've laid, and the testimonials we've received speak to the qualities we value most: commitment, creativity, expertise and proactive care.
Why us..?
Integrated design capability across the entire programme lifecycle.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do you only work with defence organisations?
No. While defence is a major focus, we also support aerospace, technology, engineering and adjacent sectors. In addition, we have worked with a wide range of NHS Trusts, not-for-profit organisations, SMEs and food sector clients as well. It's surprising how frequently insights from these other sectors proves valuable for our core work in defence.
Do you only work with marketing and comms teams?
This is a common misconception of who we work with. Yes, we very frequently support in-house marketing and comms teams. But where our expertise can also make a profound difference is with programme leads, project managers and business development teams. These groups have direct contact with stakeholders, and benefit greatly from a strategic approach to engaging such audiences, supported by compelling, impactful and relevant media.
How quickly can you start?
More often than not, it is client-side administration that slows down our ability to spin-up for a new project. It's in the nature of our work that by the time we're being contacted, the client's requirement has become somewhat urgent, so we're used to spinning up fast and juggling existing commitments to ensure everyone is supported. A Purchase Order would be required before we commence though, to ensure we don't encounter any issues after work has been delivered.
What do you need to get started?
An initial conversation is imperative so we can understand the context of the challenge and create an appropriate priced proposal. We'll help where needed to define the scope and best approach in that first meeting - you DO NOT need to spend hours of your time working on a comprehensive briefing document - these often limit the added value we can provide for you and the creative options you may not be aware of. We'll send you our proposal and, assuming that meets expectation, would need a Purchase Order to enable us to schedule the work and get our team spun up for you.
Have you worked in different domains?
Absolutely. Our cross-domain experience proves invaluable in our ability to bring useful added value to the table for any client or project. We have worked on programmes in air, land, sea, autonomous systems, mission systems, cyber, supply chain and integrated programmes that span any number of the above. And as the space domain rapidly increases in importance, we are making sure we're informed and engaging with develops there too.
Can you support sensitive programmes?
We regularly support organisations working in highly sensitive programmes and understand the importance of discretion, information security and appropriate governance when handling project information. And we're well practiced in workflows across Kahootz.
Can you support bids and business winning?
Absolutely. We held an 11 year contract with Boeing Defence UK providing just this kind of support. Our integrated delivery is particularly useful in support of bids and business winning campaigns, as we are able to deliver the compelling top-line proposition media - animations, films, 3D renders, rich pictures and so on - as well as the myriad explanatory graphics that a comprehensive bid submission requires, while ensuring that all retain a consistent style and repeatedly touch on key win themes. We can provide this support on a by-project basis or as a retained capability if you are running multiple bids concurrently.
What is your charging model?
The short answer it depends - on the scope of the project, how our support is most effectively delivered and what the client is able to administrate through their procurement channels. Typically, we work on a project or programme basis, but have also worked under call-off arrangements and longer term contracts too. Our social media management service is only available on a retained basis due to the nature of the work involved.
